I'm a day late, but Happy Easter!
I hope all of you enjoyed the day. I spent my Easter with family and lots of food.

I've been on spring break this week so I made a case to put all my crochet hooks, stitch markers, etc. in. I had some extra yarn lying around that's kinda rough which I think was perfect for this.


I sewed in three snaps to close it, but it looked so plain I decided to try and make my first crochet flower to add to it.


The flower came out bigger than I expected, but overall the case looks better with it than without it.

It's been warmer out lately so I decided to take a drive to Fire Island and go see the lighthouse. I have been going to the beach there for as long as I can remember, but never once gone to the lighthouse. It was such a clear and nice day, but a bit windy.

Here are a few pictures I took while there:



The whole area had these walkways to keep you on the path.



There were also a few exits towards the beach.

Finally made it to the base of the lighthouse, but I got there too late, and there were no more tours.



So I took a little break after all that walking.
